Horse'n Around 22 #33 Posted September 12, 2010 Howdy everyone, Margo is home now and doing really good , I doing all I can to keep her as comfortable as possible . Her surgery was a 100% success, it lasted about 5 hrs in all and best of all, there was and is NO cancer present anywhere Believe it or not, by the time they had removed the mass and all the connective tissues etc, the "stuff" they removed ended up weighing about 5 lbs! She came thru it great, shes really a strong person.I read all of your posts and she ( was really touched by each one of them. We really want to thank each of you for all your prayers and support, Were strong believers in the power of prayer and ours were answered! The drive home was a hard on her, its about a hour and a half drive on a bumpy I10 from the hospital to our place. I cant way enough about the people that treated her from the minute we got to the hospital...She was treated like a queen by everyone from the Dr's to the hospital staff. Shes resting in the bedroom watching a DVD, Im going to go see if she needs anything.Thank you sooo much for everything, You dont know how much we appreciate it! Were blessed! Ill keep you updated John

Horse'n Around 22 #45 Posted September 16, 2010 Howdy all, I cant thank you all enough for the continued prayers and support thru all this. I have an update with more good news..I took Margo to her Dr /surgeon today for a post-op checkup and he is very happy with her progress. She is healing up very nicely, her appetite is good and she has been able down significantly on her pain meds (her idea) too which is great. With the Lord is looking after you, you've got it made. She has developed an uncanny ability to feel every bump and imperfection in every road and hwy we have to drive on..the Dr is 1 1/2 hrs from our home so the drive is hard on her, not to mention that Arizonas roads are notoriuosly rough and the poor thing feels every little bump, so I put a good CD on and take the smoothest lines possible Im used to doing that, after breaking my back racing MX I figured out where the smoothest lanes are real fast Thanks again , you are wonderfull friends, Im really blessed!
