TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #2 Posted August 27, 2010 The Autolite isn't by chance a #437, is it? I think I remember that from my Gravely days. :)
WH Raider10 17 #3 Posted August 27, 2010 I think you should be good to go with two Champion H10C spark plugs.
TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #4 Posted August 27, 2010 If you choose to use Champion plugs, the correct number for the B series Onan twins should be RH18Y H10s are for the Kohler (non-KT) twins.
bowtieguy 334 #5 Posted August 28, 2010 Last year I bought a couple plugs for my O-twin at the local parts store....just checked the box and they are Autolite 105.....not to say that they are the correct plug but that is what Napa's book called for....(thanks for reminding me to change them!!!) wh79d160 52 #6 Posted August 28, 2010 I use NGK B-6L gap .025. I'm not a champion fan. I couldn't find the # listed for champion in my manual.
TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #7 Posted August 28, 2010 just checked the box and they are Autolite 105 For a P series Onan? (a 106 is supposed to be the RS17YX equivalent)
linen beige 14 #8 Posted August 29, 2010 just checked the box and they are Autolite 105 For a P series Onan? (a 106 is supposed to be the RS17YX equivalent) The D-160 with an Onan should be a B43G. My "D" manual calls for Champion plug type H-8 (Wheel Horse part #201336) and a gap of .25". Another thing to remember is the recommended point gap for this engine is .23" NOT .20". (cold timing of 25 deg. BTDC.
slufoot733 70 #9 Posted August 29, 2010 Anything but CHAMPIAN! I've had nothing but problems with them. Go with AC Delco, Autolite, or whatever.

It would take a whale of a coil to spark across a quarter inch plug gap! :USA:
