Retired Wrencher 4,898 #1 Posted August 10, 2010 :thanks: Hi I have a belt that is in OK condition now, but looking for a new one went to my dealer and no go and the same for 2nd stop. The model is a 1075 and the belt # is 8005 it is 72" long by 1/2 wide so the 8005# is obsolete. So I am trying an aftermarket just to see how it works so far no luck I drop down to a 71" just to try it. will let u know. so this leads me to the Question where do u get a belt for the older tractors that the belts that are obsolete threw Toro. IS there a Co. that make these types that are no longer in circulation. any info would help.it just seems that all the round hoods are still going strong need a belt?????and they are a lot older than mine. gwgdog66 23 #3 Posted August 11, 2010 Try these two places. They offer an aftermarket and the original Toro belt. http://www.mowpart.com/advanced_search_res....x=7&search.y=9 http://www.rcpw.com/search/?quest=8005&search=Search
