NYRedNeck 4 #1 Posted August 9, 2010 Can anyone identify the remains of that frame? Suprisingly enough that deck has no rot through. Not sure if those spindles are free.
rickv1957 70 #2 Posted August 9, 2010 Looks to be a lawn ranger,Rick
Sparky-(Admin) 19,652 #3 Posted August 9, 2010 Those little front tires and that tread pattern look like Lawn Ranger tires to me. Mike..........
stevasaurus 22,260 #4 Posted August 9, 2010 The deck looks like a typical RM 326-366 type.
TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #5 Posted August 9, 2010 I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Lawn Ranger.
NYRedNeck 4 #6 Posted August 9, 2010 The deck looks like a typical RM 326-366 type. Cant see all the numbers on the tag. Looks like 5_2322 ? Not sure if that helps.
buckeye 2 #7 Posted August 9, 2010 I agree with TT. Frame and wheels look like it could be a lawn ranger, but that is not a lawn ranger deck. Someone correct me if i'm wrong. My rm 326 deck from my L-157 lawn ranger does not have rollers on it, so their is a miss-match somewhere, either the deck or the front wheels on the frame. OHHH.... I just took another look at those pics. That is NOT a lawn ranger! It has a bent gear shifter. Lawn rangers have a straight shaft for the shifter. Good eyes TT. Eriks Red horse herd 43 #8 Posted August 9, 2010 Its lawn ranger front tires. BUT the frame isn't ! If it was a lawn ranger the left foot rest would be off set and a lawn ranger would'nt have the pto clutch pedal like it has on this one.
buckeye 2 #9 Posted August 9, 2010 And the the lawn ranger has that funky little bend on the foot rest shaft for the mower deck belt. So.... what could this mystery horse be
TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #10 Posted August 9, 2010 So.... what could this mystery horse be In this case, it's a lot easier to tell what it isn't. The right footrest peg/PTO clutch pedal was the dead giveaway for me, but y'all can pick it apart more if you want.
littleredrider 408 #11 Posted August 9, 2010 Both my rangers have the bent shifter???? Ranger front tires, but the rest who knows. Maybe someone combined a couple tractors together...Deck sure isn't a ranger.
