Docwheelhorse 2,561 #1 Posted August 4, 2010 Hello All, today I picked up this non running but complete & unmolested (except for the dumb 953 headlight trick...) 702 and a 310-8 that you can serve dinner on! Did I need them.... wellllllllllllll Do ANY of us REALLY need more than say 2 Wheel Horses Anyways... the guy that was getting rid of them was very very hot for an off road adult size go-cart he saw on Craigslist complete with big a (10/11/12???) Tecumseh and torque converter & needed the cash to buy it. So a deal was struck and I basically stole these puppies He gets his cart and I got some sweeeeeeeet rides!! Kelly 1,028 #2 Posted August 4, 2010 Wasn't the headlights like that a dealer item for a year or so?? looks like you got a couple nice machines.
evanloock 217 #3 Posted August 4, 2010 The "dumb 953 headlight trick" is actually a HL-22 headlight kit.
Ken B 3,116 #4 Posted August 4, 2010 Very nice Tony. Looks like you made a stop at Jeff's house?
Docwheelhorse 2,561 #5 Posted August 4, 2010 Hmmm--HL22 kit?? I thought that was the little chrome ones on stems? Anyways... these particular headlights where butchered onto the tractor.... they do match the 953 headlights. I think I may have one good lens and light socket so perhaps they will remain on the 702 should I be able to make them look respectable. Yes Ken... it was Jeff---now lets see how long he can stay out of the hospital riding this go-cart. Tony

Kelly 1,028 #8 Posted August 4, 2010 The little light kit was HL-5 the lights you have I believe were bolted or rivited to the side of the hood, with metal L brackets.
JimD 3,345 #9 Posted August 4, 2010 A couple of nice ones for sure!
WheelHorse_of_course 99 #10 Posted August 4, 2010 Very nice ! Regarding that sweeper carcass - I have been scheming a way to make a top dresser. My thought is that putting a hopper on top of a sweeper might be the way to go. SO there is an idea for you - if you try it be sure to let us know!! :D
