Blade Size Question 42 RD versus 42 SD

Hello All....

I am sharpening and putting a set of blades onto my 42" RD deck and can't remember if the slightly longer (13 5/8 versus 13 1/2) go on the side discharge or the rear discharge decks... I guess this is what I get for having a whole bucket of blades and not labeling which was which

Tony, to keep this going, I am gonna try and help. I only have 48" decks but did some searching and found 14 1/2" blades for a RD deck and 13 7/8" and 13 27/32" blades for a SD deck.

The 14 1/2" I understand because of over lap. My 48" deck uses 16 1/2".

Hopefully other folks will chime in...
