DMK855 15 #6 Posted July 26, 2010 Looks like it may have been a Suburban. The front axle says Suburban. As for the hood looks like it may have been off of a newer Round Hood!! C-Series14 15 #12 Posted July 27, 2010 1960 was 400 and 550 1961 was a 401, 551, and 701 Fast way to tell is by the front axle... Straight steel=1959 or older Cast upswept axle=1960-1961 400, 550, 401, 551 701 had a cast axle swept down though!!! And the engine was towards the front....
