The B-80 is a good tractor to restore. Lots of interchangeable parts available from anything in the B-80/B-100/C-120/C-160 series.

Take a look at my B-100 and see what's possible.

That is a dandy tractor for a restoration. Nice clean, straight sheet metal, not too much rust to deal with. You'll turn it into a real beauty no doubt! :thumbs:

well i got it downto just bought bare frame i have to take the dash tower and the motor of then she willl be. i already sandblasted 3/4 of the tractor. ill post some pictures next week when i get back form D.C.

Hair dryer or heat gun...softens the adhesive. :thumbs:

i have the following all painted: belt guard, hood,shifter blate,piece that holds the seat pan up, and the bar that runs across that the foot rests bolt on to...

i have the seat pan primers and ready to paint. pictures to come wnesday when i go back to moms house were my labtop is.... :)

got alot more painted just need to take pictures... i took the motor off today and painted it... now i just have to sand and paint tthe frame.. and time to put all back together........

i painted the engine black.. to make it look a little different

Let me know how that Krylon works out for you. I had a terrible time with it not curing on my B-100 restoration. Had to sand it all down and repaint with an acrylic urethane because it would chip at the slightest touch, even after drying for over a month.

I figure that I must have had a bad batch. Wasted a good dozen or more cans.

Your restoration looks good so far. Keep the pictures coming. :)

thaks rmaynard i will get more picture i just dont rmember to take pictures all the time.... but i havent had a problem with the krylon so far.... i did have 3 or 4 cans of krylon that i took right back and exchanged them cu i didnt think it was doin what it was supposed to do.. and they just let me get 4 more cans for free. :)

hey cody its taylor that krylon paint that you used and you told me to use it was good stuff i realy like the way it turned out i used it on my hood :)

but did it say banner red instead of cheery
