rickv1957 70 #2 Posted July 5, 2010 Does your idler have the L shaped belt keeper that keeps belt on pulley when you push in clutch,Im guessing not,Rick

876wheelhorse 46 #4 Posted July 6, 2010 everything is free 7the L shape bracket is there. I went out tonight after it cooled down some tore it apart and put back together. Well it went well and it stayed on. i made room in the shed and it is even under roof now. would this be a worn belt maybe causing this????
tgranthamfd 28 #5 Posted July 6, 2010 If your L shaped bracket is bent to far away from the belt and pulley, it will jump too. It needs to be close enough that the belt can't just squeeze out.
