Hi all, I have posted a few questions about my sons 1967 607 and gotten good responses :USA: I thought I would share the progress on how we are doing painting etc with it.

First here is the tractor before we started

Pics of getting it ready for paint

The man sanding and sanding ( he did not like this task but kept at it till it was ready)

All the parts have about 4 coats of IH red now not a bad quality finish some orange peeling is happening, I figure once the paint is fully cured we can wet sand that out. Not it's time to start sandblasting the rims and getting the motor running

Thanks for lookin

Very nice! My 8 yr. old son also loves to help me on the tractor's. He has even earned his own tractor by helping.

You will be able to wet sand out the orange peel. I generally wet sand up to 1500 and then buff it out. Keep the pics coming! :D

Well we finallt got the rims painted and tires were mounted, things are starting to come back togather, I like the choice he made with the bar tires all the way around

We are in the process of repainting the tins because the orange peel was too much to take off with wet sanding, oh well we are not pro's at it, a learning process for him and me at the same time
