Al I don't think the Constantine show is happening anymore...I beleive space became an issue there.

To bad it was a good one.

I'm not sure of the Jones show or swap dates either but can find out.

If you want to take a trip south on 31 to Rochester,IN they are haveing a big show down there the same weekend as the PA Wheel Horse show.

I beleive they are hosting the Vintage Garden Tractors club this year.

You'll see a lot of differant makes....the will be June 21st through the 23rd I believe.

That show in Rochester is all they talk about on the Power King board, sounds like they're going to get quite a few power kings to show up there. I wish I could be 2 places at the same time.

Is this taking the place of the Constantine show? I really liked the show there, I'd think about going if there will be garden tractors there, not just farm tractors.

Kelly the Boot Hill swap & tractor show have been around for awhile.

Also known as the Jones,MI show.

I haven't spoke with Joe Papke in some time...but think the Riverview show had grown to large for the park.

Since the show in Jones & Riverview were only about a week apart & in close proximity I hear they are adding it into 1 show now.

Again this is just what I've heard...I've never made it to the Jones show, but sure hope to this year.

Nothing wrong with "big" tractors...they just don't fit in the garage.

Nothing against the farm tractors but we have nice shows close to home if I want to look at them, I don't want to spend the gas money to go look at them. anyway with out the big ones we wouldn't have the little ones. I think I'm going to try to make it, just to look around, and see if next year maybe take a tractor or three, I think I can fit six on my trailer.

Ok.... Here is the scoop from the people in the St. Joseph Valley Old Engine Association tent.

The Constantine show is being combined with the Association's show in August at the Boot Hill Ranch location.

I have a flyer for the show in my hands now.

Show Dates: 1st, 2nd & 3rd of August 2008

Location: Boot Hill Ranch, Bair Lake Rd. Jones Michigan

Contact Info: Duane Hollister, (269) 683-9537

Featuring: Case Equipment, Sears/Craftsman & David Bradley Garden Tractors.

Mule Pulls on Saturday, 9:00am

Vintage Garden Tractor Club of America display and show

Music:: Saturday afternoon, Lisa & Mark Woolever.

Friday and Saturday night "Deadwood"

Thursday July 31st.: Third Annual Tractor Tour

Leave grounds for an overnight camping trip

of 65 to 70 miles.

Things to see: Farm Machinery, Sawmill, Stationary Boiler, Craft Displays

Steam Engines, Gas Tractors, Gas Engines, Thresher

& Flea Market

There.......that is everything important that the flyer states.

I am sorry.....there is nothing specific mentioned about Wheel Horses.

Perhaps they are included in the "Vintage Garden Tractor Club"????

Again the combining of the Constantine show and this one was only "word

of mouth" from the association members that had a tent at the earlier swap meet this year at the Boot Hill Ranch.

(people not liking the message should not shoot the messenger. put up your own message...ha ha ha)
