stevasaurus 23,274 #1 Posted June 2, 2010 Thought I would spiff up the trailer for the show. It is a 20 footer, but looks a heck of a lot better then it did, and a lot safer too...added some good tie downs. I think it is ready for the 600 mile (one way ) journey. before after Jim (the artist formerly known as Fan) said maybe some lawn chairs and pull this around the show with the horse. If you see us....stop us and say Hi. :D

stevasaurus 23,274 #12 Posted June 3, 2010 Thanks guys...yes a little paint works wonders, and she will turn heads on the tollways in a few weeks. I would love to put some Wheel Horse hubcaps on this, but did they make them for 14" rims? I was thinking "Baby Moons". Randy The 20 footer means it looks great from 20 feet. The bed is 1/4" steel plate. I just washed it real good and then, when it was dry, I used a roller and put on a product called Water Lox sealer. It is mainly used for hardwood floors. After you put it on a floor you use their Gymfloor Finish. I won't do that, but I have used the product on steel before and it hold up outside for years...doesn't peal. I have not tried it on sheet metal though, like a hood. It might be worth a shot...may solve some of the paint chipping problems you guys are talking about. :USA:

stevasaurus 23,274 #18 Posted June 4, 2010 Randy (operator)...you will get to see this first hand. The only bad thing is...by the last week of August...summer is just about over. But, on the other hand...if I run into fog on the way there.......could be another excellent winter.. The blade is still on the 857. :wh:
