DenisM 3 #1 Posted May 25, 2010 Was wondering if anybody had a copy to sell or could make a zerox copy for me. I am working on a 1977 B-80 and a 1978 C-81. Both are the 8-speed versions. I am looking for the exploded views with part numbers so I can order or search for the stuff I need to get them in good spape. Thanks Denis DodgeM37@aol.com
C-Series14 15 #2 Posted May 25, 2010 First off , we like to be friendly! I use sepw.com, if you have your VIN, it shows the parts drawings on there. Then you add to cart and 90 percent of the time, it is still available. Also on Toro's site and several others. I am restoring a 1979 C-141 8-Speed and the site is very valuable...I just placed my FOURTH order and hope it is the last one! Hope to have it done well before the show this year! Other folks will chime in I am sure. DenisM 3 #3 Posted May 26, 2010 Thanks for the web sites. I'll have to get the serial numbers and get to work.
Buzz 502 #5 Posted May 26, 2010 Thanks for the web sites. I'll have to get the serial numbers and get to work. You need the model numbers more than the serial numbers. The 1977 B-80 is model # 71-08K801 and the 1978 C-81 is model # 81-08K801. You can download a B,C, and D series service manual plus a transmission manual and an electrical manual from Toro. Go to https://lookup3.toro.com/request/request.cfm Put 81-08K801 for model number and "none" for serial number. You can also download your Kohler engine manual here: http://www.kohlerengines.com/onlinecatalog/pdf/tp_2379.pdf Have fun.
