Just returned from Portland.I was only ther Friday and Saturday.Iwas kind of dis apointed .Today was very slow.People started leaving very early this morning.( heard there was another show in Springfield Ohio that a lot of people were going to) I know this is not the normal Portland swap meet.I was told Thusrday was a very good day.Came home with less than I went with ,so I can't complain plus I got to see some old friends. That makes it worth it.

:D It was nice meeting you Indy wh. Shortly after talking with you my friend came down ill and we had to leave. I wasn,t prepared with a golf cart or tractor to ride around because I had never been before. WOW there was alot of stuff!!!I,ll be ready next time with a trailer of stuff to sell and something to ride on. Maybe a camper too.

My brother and I got to meet and visit with IndyWH and I also got to visit with Chuck McColley (Wheel-Mule) on Friday really nice day and lots of interesting conversations

I took two short videos of some of the buyers and sellers actvity at Portland.

This would be of interest to those who have never attended one of these events.

The wife and I went on Friday and walked around for six hours. Talked to wheel-mule and spent some money on his goodies... Wish I could of met you other guys... We go every year and 9 times out of 10 people leave early. If they would only start the swap meet a little later to get vendors to stay longer.

I went sat only and set up I sold over $450 not bad for setting up at 7:30 and packed up by 2:00 but I spent $150 and another $100 in gas, I'll be back next year for the week, with a full trailer, and a bike or something to ride, way to big to walk it all.

Kelly- I'm glad you made it , I knew you would like it. Words can't describe the actual scope of that swap meet. The weather cooperated pretty well also. Hopefully we can all get together in a location next year and hold down an even larger piece of real estate!

I am so dissapointed I didn't get to meet alot of you guys... We sit here at the computer reading what each of us type but never get to meet each other very often. I knew a few guys on here before ever being on here then have met a couple guys off of here... Bob I walked right past you... I talked to Larry next to you but didn't know where you were... The wife and I were pulling a radio red flyer wagon around that I had repainted and put Wheel Horse decals on. Guess I should of put a flag on there that said RedSquare!!!

Gene I passed a couple pulling a little red wagon that must of been

you and your wife. I think if I go next year I'll have a RS sign on the

trailer.

Nope- that was Dave N Mary from OH with the trike and cart. I took my bike- easier to pedal around and look for the deals and makes scouting fresh loads fast and easy.

Wow Gene- I probably sat on my tailgate and watched you talk to Larry!
