DoctorHfuhruhurr 136 #1 Posted May 1, 2010 Is a Kohler K-91 the same as the K-91t? I just picked up a K-91t for $30 and it seems complete and has good compression. I believe it was off of a tiller which I'm guessing that's where the T comes in. THANKS!!!

wallfish 16,032 #3 Posted May 2, 2010 That's a pretty good score for $30 and have seen those little gas tanks sell for $20. The oil bath filter is a nice bonus and can easily be converted to an updraft version if you want to put the motor on a ball burner. Here's what the numbers and letters mean

DoctorHfuhruhurr 136 #5 Posted May 6, 2010 thanks for the info. After a carb cleaning, fuel and oil replacement, it started right up with no smoke and was very smooth and quiet. I suspect it didn't get much use on the tiller in its former life. I have an RJ-58 with tired engine that it should swap into nicely.
