First place in pull

We pulled at Clinton Corners (south of Redhook) NY Saturday.

first place 18 horse 1050 class, I went off the end of the track. and they say belt drive tractors can't beat shaft drive tractors

I think for us a full pull is 200 feet, i was way past that, i was to the end of the track to the grass and no more traction

if your wondering why the 18 horse has no weights, i only have one set and have to switch them back and forth 3 or 4 times :D

I love it. Good looking tractors. As I posted recently, I watch a young girl on a Wheel Horse go all the way to the end with a belt drive.

By the way, how do hydro's do in pulling? Can they hold up o the strain?

hydro's are not used, to much power loss for stock classes.

There is V8 car motor hydro class, the pumps take it pretty good, but they do blow the pumps fairly often.
