chesbaycruiser 82 #1 Posted April 20, 2010 So last Thursday I got a great deal on a local 1996 520-H with a NOS 48" Snow Blade and WH Wheel Weights. The sad news is that I only owned it for about four days. The good news is I sold it to a good home, kept the blade & weights and pocketed a few bucks to boot. A win/win! KyBlue 652 #9 Posted April 20, 2010 What a score!! Why Can't I find a good deal on a nice 520?? That Acre and a half that I now have to mow...Is gonna break my lil 8hp and 36" Cut..plus it takes..well awhile..haha I'd have kept it for sure!
chesbaycruiser 82 #10 Posted April 20, 2010 Thanks guys! For the record...the first two days I had this tractor (or half the time I owned it!) were spent cleaning it up....it didn't look quite like this when I picked it up! I would have really loved to keep this tractor, but I don't have enough grass or storage space for a monster like the 520! I bought the package for the blade and weights. I won't bore you with the numbers, but trust me, it was a deal that I couldn't let pass. So now I'm back to my trusty 'ol B-80 for working, my ZTR for mowing, and a big pile of parts that will soon be red again, and with any luck, should look something like a 1988 312-8! (Progress pictures of that whole process will follow, once I start painting.) Now, back to Craigslist...

Coadster32 793 #13 Posted April 20, 2010 So...free plow, weights, and the such, and money on top of it? You can't say no! Great score! It's the only hobbie I've found that actually pays for itself.
