Last Week's Haul

Recommended Posts

chesbaycruiser

So last Thursday I got a great deal on a local 1996 520-H with a NOS 48" Snow Blade and WH Wheel Weights. The sad news is that I only owned it for about four days. The good news is I sold it to a good home, kept the blade & weights and pocketed a few bucks to boot.

A win/win!

What a score!!

Why Can't I find a good deal on a nice 520?? That Acre and a half that I now have to mow...Is gonna break my lil 8hp and 36" Cut..plus it takes..well awhile..haha

I'd have kept it for sure!

Thanks guys! For the record...the first two days I had this tractor (or half the time I owned it!) were spent cleaning it up....it didn't look quite like this when I picked it up!

I would have really loved to keep this tractor, but I don't have enough grass or storage space for a monster like the 520! I bought the package for the blade and weights. I won't bore you with the numbers, but trust me, it was a deal that I couldn't let pass.

So now I'm back to my trusty 'ol B-80 for working, my ZTR for mowing, and a big pile of parts that will soon be red again, and with any luck, should look something like a 1988 312-8! (Progress pictures of that whole process will follow, once I start painting.)

Now, back to Craigslist...

So...free plow, weights, and the such, and money on top of it? You can't say no! Great score! :omg: It's the only hobbie I've found that actually pays for itself.
