stevasaurus 23,275 #29 Posted March 26, 2010 I have noticed a few things "slow " at times...like adding a post, but I have not had trouble with the back button. Suggest trying a right click on the mouse and hit back or reload there. Could be your browser. :omg:
CasualObserver 3,411 #30 Posted March 26, 2010 Ia anyone working on the problem? Butch Your internet browser's back button is not a "problem" that can be worked on at a forum level. The browser's back button is solely a software issue on your computer. It may not be working because the page is still trying to load something and has not completed. Sometimes the ads that are on the forum are slow, as well as pictures in the posts, as they are drawing from other sites on the internet and are limited to how fast those servers are giving out their information. Try hitting the "Stop" button before you try to go "Back." Other than that, I would suggest if you are having these troubles, you clear all your temporary internet files, dump your cache and reboot your computer. SgtBob 27 #39 Posted March 29, 2010 For what its worth, I dont have or use farmville on my computer and also am experiencing problems with the back space buutton. You have to click on it several times to get it to work. I don't think this is a virus problem on my computer because this is the only site that it is like this, all others work as they should ???????
porkchop 1 #40 Posted March 29, 2010 :omg: This problem happens for me with the back button having to be clicked 3 or 4 times now. MaineDad 87 #41 Posted March 29, 2010 Guys, Perhaps you should mention what Browser you are using to view RS. Many of the web sites out there no longer support some of the older Internet Explorer browsers. Post your browser like IE 7.0 for example. I use Google's Chrome and this site works real fast with no problems for me...
buckeye 5 #42 Posted March 29, 2010 same here. this site is the only one i have problems with the back button :omg:
refracman 167 #43 Posted March 29, 2010 I'm have the same problem on my laptop, this is the only site that does it and this thing has more firewalls than I care to know about. My pc which has little to no security works fine with the mouse but has the problem only with the keyboard.
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,602 #44 Posted March 29, 2010 I access this site from a couple of different computers using several browers, Firefox, Safari, Camino and lastly IE - and I haven't had a problem with anyone of them with this site. The back button is a feature of the browser(s), not a feature of this site. It could be some of the browsers isn't playing well this forum software, but like I said, I used several browsers without a problem on any of them.

Rollerman 290 #46 Posted March 29, 2010 Terry, Jason....for what it's worth my system seems to be cripled lately when I log onto RS & only RS? Return to original page or "back" function doesn't work for me without repeated clicks often sending me back to a site I was visiting prior to RS. Trying to do various things like add pics or quoates seems to just leave me stuck indefinatley?
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,602 #47 Posted March 29, 2010 Stephen, others, Try this site: http://cubcadet.1.forumer.com/index.php?act=idx It uses a similar software of forumer. It that forum has problems with the back button, then it must be inherent to the forumer software.
Rollerman 290 #48 Posted March 29, 2010 No problems on the Cub site, my system flies right through it. Now...lets see if I can back out of here?
mavfreak 11 #49 Posted March 29, 2010 I had no problems there either. I have no problems with any other sight but this one.
