jimbotelho 1 #26 Posted March 19, 2010 I second that steve bo I clearly remember the day that I first saw you in the emergency room (along with your mother ) Your face was a mess and I remember the surgeries and all the pain that you were in after they had to rebreak your septum so you could breathe better. Yes chris at all ages they seem like fun but again they are a machine and I would consider myself lucky that you are still able to write this story. Do your self and mom a big favor and get rid of it This time was just an example of how quick your life can change when we do stupid things Jim
KC9KAS 4,744 #27 Posted March 19, 2010 It has been said before, but I am going to say it again. Glad you weren't hurt any worse than you were, and I am glad you have learned from your mistake. Most of us have done some really dumb stuff in our lives, and the good thing is we can look back and realize that we were NOT bullet proof and 10' tall like we thought. Keep having fun, be careful, and live & learn.

clintonnut 126 #29 Posted March 19, 2010 You don't want to show up at the WH show in a wheel chair do you?! My scars haven't been nearly as bad as yours even after falling through my barn floor 2 days after I had my appendix out. It was BAD but my scars tend to heal TOO NICE! I almost forget what happened. But you never forget which board flips up! Charlie
WHC-125 4 #30 Posted March 19, 2010 Thanks guys! I am going to wear a helmet no matter what from now on. I went in the woods today on my 400ex and wore my helmet. I am going to try to be more careful, but I am still going to want to have fun. I am going to be responsible before I do stuff though. My dad stopped by today and seen my 400ex for the first time today and was very impressed on how clean my 400ex is. Bill, I am always here to help you out. I was in a sling helping you put the motor in that Cub Cadet you got Steve and Ken, I am very sorry to hear about your accidents as well!

Save Old Iron 1,571 #34 Posted March 24, 2010 Chris, Glad to hear your on the mend. Slow down a little and heal up well. Your a bright young kid - hang around and enjoy your time here. If you think a 4 wheeler is a wild ride, try the rest of your 60+ years of life. Its more minute by minute surprises than you you can imagine. Love that feeling of your heart beating faster ? Raise a few kids and check your pulse when they come home all cut up and bruised. One wild ride. Don't blow it all in your first 16 years!
