Gene_S 93 #3 Posted February 14, 2010 On a 1961 551 there is a place in fromt of the motor for the battary to set in. In the picture below which I stole from "Duke" you can see the box shape in front of the motor and thats where it goes. I'm guessing you don't have a 551 if your not sure where the battary goes.
