Really Got Buried

Recommended Posts

Suburban 550

Haven't seen a storm of this magnitude in some time. We ended up with 2 feet of snow. So bad, I got my Dodge Ram 4x4 stuck on the hill close to my house. My C-121 with the blade and my Raider 10 with the snowblower really got a workout. Here are some pics the wife took before I got home with it still comin' down. In the first pic notice the cat trying to make his way through the snow.

The C-121 buried in the snow. I had to move it out of the barn to get the Raider out.

The digging out begins with the Raider.

I lost my photographer so I had to take over the camera with the cleanup pics.

The weather people are calling for more snow on Monday, but as of now they are not saying how much. B)

Awsome pics Ray. Believe it or not I wish we ended up with a snowfall of that magnitude. The 2" we got here was boring to clear  .

Hope the cat got in before the blower made its first pass B) !

Great pics Ray! The one of the C-121 looks like ours did when I finally got out there to try to do something. Problem was.......the sun had come out and the dry snow wasn't dry anymore

It balled up in front of the plow and that's all she wrote. Had to back up the horse and shovel the mess down. Wanna come down here and open up the end of my drive with the Raider? It's got a 2' high berm at the end from the County plow. B)

Well guys, I had more than enough seat time with this storm. I had 2 1/2 more hours yesterday on the plow opening up my driveway where it meets the road and the neighbors driveway. The township snow plow didn't come past our house til yesterday afternoon and left a real mess in front of the driveways as it was startin' to freeze up by the time I got home from work. We are supposed to get more on Monday night into Tuesday but as of now it looks like the bulk of it will stay south of us. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Thanks for all your comments. B)
