Must be nice to have the weekend off...I will have to wait until saturday night to plow because I have military duty and of course, they don't cancel that! B)

Will be a nice 45 mile drive to work in the morning...

I purchased this B-80 for $75.00 with the plow and a deck. I had to repair the starter and the lift arm. I switched the tires from my 552 so I could use the chains and I also added a 100lb weight on the hitch for added traction. It pushes this heavy wet snow without much problem. Enjoy the pics I might add more later if the snow isn't falling to heavy. They are calling for 2" an hour thru out the night with a total of 24+" I am planning on a small resto on this in the spring but I couldn't resist playing with it a little now and giving the 552 a break.

We're supposed to get between 18"-24" here in South Jersey. It was supposed to start around 4pm but is just now starting to stick. I work for the local electric utility so will be working all day tomorrow (inside, thank goodness) so won't get to plow until whenever I get home.

Hey Charlie, whereabouts in the Pine Barrens did you go mudding? They're known for their bottomless sugar sand and not their mud..... unless you went driving through some old cranberry bogs.

Just spent 2 hours on 2 horses. About 7 inches of HEAVY wet snow was too much for the 12 auto. Plenty of power but aggs without chains. B)

Got the c-160 with chains out and :hbd: . I will do everything else

in the morning it,s drifting wind gusts 30 to 40mph.

Well Buzz, I am glad I am not working by myself tomorrow! My problem is, if they have a level 3 snow emergency, no one is allowed on the road so I might have to not turn the TV on in the morning!!! B)

I didn't quite mean mudding. I guess you would call it quick sand pond bogging! We went a couple times outside of Batstoe Village on the sand trails back there. There are a couple ponds that are 3-4ft deep. We sometimes go canoeing starting up at a sand trail bridge and going down the creek 4-5 miles through the bogs to Batstoe.

2" here so far.

It's only been snowing here since 6PM and there's 5" on the ground already. Can't wait for morning, I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve! B)

The weather talking heads are saying it's supposed to snow till late afternoon Saturday, and the big stuff won't hit until midnight tonight.

Just came in from plowing about 6 inches here in central MD. Still coming down. Bulk of it is supposed to hit after midnight. Hope to have some video tomorrow.

I'm beginning to understand why you guys with the automatics and hydro lifts like them so much. I think I need a shoulder replacement.

Guess I'll just pop some Advil B) and get some sleep before the next round.

Got home about 4:30.... barely enough snow to cover the ground.

Went outside at 8:00..... B) ....2' to 3' drifts. Warmed up the D200.

Worked in just my driveway for 2.75hrs. I usually can do mine and three others in that amount of time. The old D with a 56" blade, was doing everything I asked it too. There is just so much out there.

Back in the house at 11:00....The wind is blowing so hard that I felt I was fighting a loosing battle. At one point out there I was thinking to myself that I would have paid $1000 for a cab....... now that is windy.

Will get up early in the morning and use the International 966 with a 8' blower on the back to clean every body's drives. Then the D will come back out and clean everything up after that.

THINK SPRING

Had a hard time opening the back door this morning, the snow was so deep against the house.

The entire DC to Philadelphia corridor is socked in.

Where I am, we have 18" (~8AM) now and a predicted 8" - 12" more to come before all is said and done. B)

Seat time for the Mid-Atlantic folks.

The Maly-Mutt thinks it's GREAT! Picture taken just after he pulled his head out from under it ...

Just woke up...

RT41 is unplowed now and drifted over, no traffic.

Hard to tell how much snow we have since we are on top of a hill. Probably 12-18 inches. Supposed to snow for 12 hours more.

PLOW TIME!

Charlie
