a Red Square Face Book page?

Recommended Posts

whfan74

Jason.........I agree very well said!

The idea was there from others in the group. If you notice all of those that joined are still here and nothing will ever replace Red Square in my book.

We all love our hobby for different reasons and hold it dear to our heart. I am a school teacher and it is fun for me to see kids interested in what I am involved in as much as I get excited to hear about their passions.

The Facebook page in my mind is there to goof around with pictures and make friends. It is not set up to handle diagnostic questions, rebuilds, etc..... I envision to be a place to let other's know what we are doing in the wee hours of the night in our respected shops. As the classic line has now been stopped we are starting down a road where parts will start to become a premium to keep our hobby going. Let's share it with others to see.

I spend 90% of my internet time here on Red Square............that won't change for a good long time. I come here for info, to buy/sell things, share struggles with my tractors and to ask for help.

I hope everyone understands I didn't create the page to take away from Red Square. It is simple........if you are on Facebook and want to be apart of something else.......GREAT!!!! If you don't........no hard feelings, I am not out to take away but rather to enhance.

Keep on wrenchin!

Actually..I apoligize..because I thought the first post in this thread was asking:

"Would it be cool to have a Wheel Horse presence on FB"?

which I thought was a question..asking for input and opinions..

when in reality what was said was:

"Would be cool to have a Wheel Horse presence on FB "

which is a statement, not a question! :banghead:

So I guess I could have kept my views to myself!

oh well..no harm I guess..

Scot

Steve. All you do is click on the comment of somebody's post and type something in their post.

Or you can start your own post. Give it a whirl!!!!

Steveasaurus,

on a serious note (rare for me),

the spell checker technology is available when you type out your post.

Any words underlined in red can be "spell checked" by right clicking your mouse (you do have at least TWO buttons on that DOS mouse, right ?) - a pop up window will offer suggestions on a closest match or guesstimate to what you are trying to spell. Click on the correct spelling and your done. The key is to try to post without any of your words being underlined in red.

Don't feel bad about DOS 6. I still have a few automotive diagnostic programs I use for pre - OBDII stuff that still needs DOS.
