wesley 32 #1 Posted February 29, 2008 Had an hour spare this afternoon, so set to and made up a tool for removing and installing axle needle roller bearings and also by turning the tool and fitting another plate it will do the oil seals as well, used a bit of turned bronze and a length of studding,so lan if you do your bearings, we have another bit of kit to use. wes Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

wesley 32 #4 Posted February 29, 2008 Talking of tools a while ago now , after a hour or so having to sit and use a hand file, enough was enough so l found an old filing machine that was dragged home and given a tidy up, but there was a part missing, so was going to make a bit , but never did , now l have done and its great just to sit and hold the work and the file gos up and down , just been playing making a hinge for the tanks gun breach, will get a piccyof the machine , she was made in 1920. wes Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
