Shedding some light on the subject

The C-160 I recently bought does not have any headlights. No reflector or lens

From looking at the pictures of what I need, it doesn't seem like the stock lights would give off very much light. How is the stock light output, compared to say, my Workhorse or 312-8 with the sealed beam bulbs?

I definitely don't want to cut or drill anything in my hood, but has anyone here put a different light setup on theirs that still looks stock, and gives off plenty of light.

Unless of course, the stock light setup DOES give off as much (or more) light than my Workhorse or 312-8 then this whole discussion is a moot point.

The lights on your 300 series are brighter. Look around, there was JUST a thread on lights for the C-series and the various options, very good posts in there.

A stock set up on a "C" does not give off much light.

I would say that the lights on the 312 will be alot brighter than the ones on the C-160, the lights on my C series seem dull compaired to my 300 or 400 series. But from reading past posts i have been impressed with the LED bulbs that people have been using in the B and C series tractors. They look like they throw off alot more light than the stock bulbs.
