I know I didn't get much, But didn't pay much either

Someone lengthened the hood, probably to clear a larger twin cyl. motor !

And that explains why 3rd gear doesn't work....

Andy,

you posted the photo incorrectly..you had the "http" at the beginning copied twice..(and you tried to post the tiny thumbnail)..

I had nothing but trouble with photobucket so switched to flickr ,that works!

The tires on my 520HC are 24-12-12 mounted on some custom made 12" wide rims. For traction, and with the wider track the tractor will not tip over easily. But realy I just like the look of wide wheels

Just not sure what I want to do yet. I have an HH50 sno blower motor that my brother gave me. I don't think that would power a mower or do much pulling though. Anyone know what motor this had new? Also the front end looks a little high , did they have 8" wheels on the front? The ones on there are the same as my raider .

If it's a 655 it had a 6hp tucky in it, and is a 1965 tractor, yes those are the stock wheels and tires, just like my 656 and many other machines from the mid 60's to the early 70's.
