jusjeepn 59 #29 Posted January 20, 2010 I can definitely understand the frustration, but like Karl has already stated, get all the facts. A year and a half ago I had posted several items on ebay. Within a few days I was in the hospital for an emergency heart procedure. Needless to say Ebay was not a priority. It was 3 weeks before my wife was actually able to contact all the auction winners and all were very understanding. It took another 2 weeks to get all the items shipped. Things do happen beyond our control and there are also the scammers out there that will take you for a ride. Just please make sure you have all your ducks in row before diving in! Brrly1 1,146 #30 Posted January 20, 2010 I have heard of trouble before with this same guy. He was supposedly reproducing GT14 three points and never shipped them. Sounds like nothing but trouble. I won't be buying no pieces or parts out of Texas anytime to soon. I know that Paypal will take care of things for you also. Been there, Done that. Good Luck See Ya, Bye Burly
rmaynard 16,292 #31 Posted January 20, 2010 Having been an eBay buyer and seller since 1998, I have had my share of minor problems. Most were resolved within a reasonable period of time. I always give the other party the benefit of the doubt. If you look at this guy's feedback, he has periods of time when all is well, then lapses. That's why I think there must be a medical or other problem. Since my purchase was only $23, shipping included, I can wait. PayPal has become much more buyer friendly of late, and I am not worried about getting the money back. As I said earlier, I would rather have the part than the money.
