No One Better Pick On My Steaks Again!

MJ and I went to breakfast thursday morning before work, and I ordered Steak and Eggs they had a special for $ 5.00 bucks. When the gal brought it out I said WTF no wonder its only $5.00! <_< Butch where are ya when I need ya! I sit there and laughed and it brought back some pretty good memories of the past laughs we had about my steaks! I dont want to hear about my thin steaks anymore

Now I LIKED your steak!!! No, it wasn't a 1" thick steak, but so what? It was cooked properly, it was tender, it was tasty. If you wanna nit pick about the thickness, so be it, but I consider taste and tenderness far more important than size.

True story, when I was kid at home on the farm, steaks were 1/2" thick, 1" and up were considered roasts! Then I visited California and the guy served what he called a 2" steak. It was a roast cooked on the grill to me!! He had to cut it serve it, yup, you guessed it, 1/2 thick slices, 2" wide. But you got several.
