New england area meet & greet/swap meet

Hello Everyone,

I'm posting this to see how much interest there is in a new england area meet and greet and swap meet. it would be open to all who wanted to attend from what ever state your in but focused toward the members in the new england area i'm thinking of a two day event that would include the meet and greet, swap meet, tractor pull, and bbq. if there is alot of interest i think one in the spring would be good and one later in the year after the big show in pa. so if your interested please let me know and if you have any feed back or ideas don't be shy feel free to let me know . thanks guys

I'm glad to see such great interest! i'm not sure of an exact date yet but it will be spring though that way we have something to help get us out of the winter rut. but i can say that there will be plenty to do. i will be sure to have my stone boat ready for those who want to pull. if anyone has any idea of other activities let me know i'm going to build a balance board as well so anyone who wants to try their luck can.

currnetly i'm hammering out the details as to where this will be held it's a toss up between my friends 100 acre farm or one of the town fields that are set up for pulls. as soon as i have more info i will be sure to post it.

One thing to think about is that we would not want to be on public property if they are going to have the right to ask us to leave if they get complaint for noise or a conflict of other events etc. If we are on private property then we cannot get tossed. I would imagine having a bunch of guys with tractors and no where to go would be a problem. Just something to think about. Thanks for taking the lead on this one !!

the field i mentioned is owned by the town but rented out to interested parties as well as hosting other events. through out the years it has hosted everything from mud bogs and demo derbies to circuses and fairs.
