baerpath 517 #3 Posted December 6, 2009 Never did it but have talked to Yellow freight and they would do it if it was drained of gas and oil strapped to one of there pallets at their dock and delivered to another of their docks. Usually if I want it I just go get it Friday I'll do the 9hrs to go to Culpeper Va to pickup a new toy. Heading that way empty Duane
fireman 1,022 #4 Posted December 6, 2009 Try Forward Air. I shipped an outboard boat motor in a crate probably the same size as a tractor would be. It only cost a little over $200 from CT to Texas. That was about 5 years ago. It has to be on a pallet or in a crate as long as they can move it with a forklift.
