stevasaurus 23,274 #8 Posted November 26, 2009 Marshall...it is easy...just remember that the rust comes off the best when the cathode and the anode are in line of sight...that is why you see everyone put multiple anodes around the tank...and think that negative flows to positive...not a problem if you get is backwards...you just end up with a very clean piece of rebar. Put the black clip on what you want to clean. They say not to put any copper in the water...I put a c-clamp on what I want to clean and just enough water so the clamp sticks above the surface. Attach black clip to the c-clamp. Also...you can't leave it in there too long...just eats the rust.
