snow blade

pulled this blade out of the barn yesterday, and I am wondering if anyone can tell me anything about it. I have not seen one like this on the site. Is it a wheel horse blade? Looked for a serial# but did not see one.

It is a 44" blade...17 1/4" high...from drift pin to middle of support bar 50 1/2".

Where it would attach to an attach-o-matic...inside 10" outside 12 1/2"

Total height is 63 1/2" Blade has 5 positions the frame tubes are 1 7/8" OD>

also...would like to fabricate so I could control angle of blade from seat. Any ideas? Looks like it may mount on my Raider 10 (1972)...measured the distance for the attach-o-matic...would work if nothing is in way. thanks

I am guessing Bolens, I think they had tube framed blades.... :notworthy:

Not WH for sure....

I agree with Perry.....it sure does look like it could pass for a Wheel Horse blade. Who knows that could have taken an old WH mounting system to a newer WH blade. Looks like we have a mystery on our hands! :notworthy:

I bet a Mt. Dew at next years show that is not a WH blade. :notworthy:

It's either home built or another brand that's been modified. It looks like it will fit a Wheel Horse, but it definitely wasn't built by Wheel Horse.

Yeah you guys are right........probably will fit but definitely not even pieced together from old Wheel Horse parts. If I make it to the show I will still buy you a Dew! :notworthy:

I think that blade has been buried in the barn for at least 20 years. So

it has to have been made in the 60's, - 80's. It doesn't really look homemade,

nor does it look fabricated...I was looking at the welds I think it may fit my RAider 10, because the place where it attaches to the rear axle is about the right demension. About 12"...where the other horses are about 16".
