linen beige 15 #29 Posted November 11, 2009 Instead of moving the electrodes around, can you increase the voltage? Something like a cheap DC welder? Yes you could adjust the input voltage to compensate for the current lost over distance, but why waste the money to pay for the lost current? Since the sacrificial electrodes need to be installed in a manner that allows for easy removal for cleaning off scale and replacement when used up, it's pretty easy to also make the placement of them adjustable. Stigian 1,234 #30 Posted November 22, 2009 :WRS: great picture Chuck Since the sacrificial electrodes need to be installed in a manner that allows for easy removal for cleaning off scale and replacement when used up, it's pretty easy to also make the placement of them adjustable. My thinking as well Jim Here's my solution to the problem Guy's. The wooden beams the anodes hang on can be moved in or out by sliding them. And the anode can also be moved sideways by just hooking them in a different hole in the mesh. Very easy to get off for cleaning. Somewhere under this layer of rust is a fender pan thingy having a soak!!
