Was this Brads engine?

No, was an 8 that came on a C-81 I picked up in the spring.

John, that’s making good use of old scrap iron. Did you ever weigh one to see how much it weighs? Good job buddy?

Told that it runs. I installed the Chinese carb for now to get it running. Need to find a recoil starter.

Try call Brian @570 492 9706. He just bought out a dealer ship that was going out of business. Look up the part number in the manual section for that engine and get the part number that’ll help him a lot. He’s kind of a busy guy. But with that number it’ll we’ll save him  time. Have a good day.

He is a hard working man with two jobs. I still can’t believe he had the original key in a bag for the B 60 tractor. I guess I can say it was kinda lucky getting that.

@Sparky

For those inside weights.. did you have to trim the inner diameter to get over the hubs?

 Nope! The hole is plenty big, plus the weights have a notch for the valve stem. PERFECT!

Not sure what his are ... we have a couple sets of IHC Cub Cadet weights that look like that.  They fit 12" fronts on bigger tractors too.  And stackable.

Yeah I was thinking they look like 12" front weights off small Farmall's but was wanting to make sure. Would like to add a set on the inside rears on my C-160.:auto-layrubber:
