jhetcel23 1 #1 Posted Sunday at 01:30 AM Struggling to properly route the 87 inch drive belt on my 417xt. The old belt broke, so I have no reference to go off of. I removed the PTO belt, the clutch bracket, and idler spring. Anyone that could take a picture of their routing or have any tips would be appreciated

peter lena 10,050 #5 Posted 3 hours ago @jhetcel23 not familiar with your set up , BUT am familiar with flat idler related , belt bounce ? combination of idler , lubrication failure AND LONG UNSUPORTED , belt run , makes for a buzzing repetitive problem . this would require a cure that is not in the book , looking right at it , glairing to me . middle of belt run , needs rolling support . pete
