ebinmaine 80,485 #4 Posted 23 hours ago My work warehouse has been changing all the racks. Large metal pallet racks that hold many many 12.5 foot long siding pallets. Several other types of racks and various other steel items too. We've been making a few trips to the local metal recycling yard. Huge machinery. They have two long armed excavators that have the capacity to lift two cubed cars at once. Those machines also have an operator station "cab" that can raise itself to about 15 feet off the ground so the Loader person can see into a 13' 6" tall trailer. Always wide open throttle busy there. 953 nut 68,916 #6 Posted 8 hours ago Last trip to the scrapper I made the guy hit the magnet and the load and trailer went up, he shook the boom and the trailer came back down, scared the heck out of the wife! lynnmor 9,029 #8 Posted 7 hours ago When I was building my shop I got a tip that two Brown & Sharpe surface grinders were being sent to the scrap yard so I immediately went there.
