Ditto for Walmart, Stop & Shop, and Shaw's. I'm an earlybird, usually arrive to to Market right after they open... The last Store I mentioned, Shaw's, can be quite pricey unless you just shop the sales... There are not usually many cars in the parking lot when I arrive; one mornibg, I noticed about 25. I go in and there are only about four shoppers like me - the rest are order pickers buzzing around gathering items for the folks willing to pay extra for that "service".. I tell them that I did not go the Piggly-Wiggly to see the pimpley faced kid bagging groceries his reccomedation for selecting Building Materials (Or whatever Business I'm at). If you've ever seen the folks that pick your stuff, you might think twice. I much prefer to pick my own. My daughter uses the grocery service from Walmart and is frequently complaining about meat and other items that are at, near, or beyond expiry dates. No sir. 8ntruck 9,213 #6 Posted yesterday at 02:36 PM Anybody else ever notice how often there seems to be one of those order pickers and their truck sized cart right in front of the shelf location of the very item you are wanting? Since I had my stroke shopping in store has changed for me. I am either limited to what I can carry in two cloth shopping bags (one hanging on each side of the walker) or the small basket in the mobility scooters at the store. either way I can't get a week's worth of groceries. I place my order on line, the order is brought out and put in the car and off I go, When I get home I borrow my wife's wheel chair, load the groceries in it and up the ramp I go.
