larryk1 5 #1 Posted 2 hours ago Hello, Does anyone have an 800 special with a snow plow bracket installed on the Frame that they could take a picture and show me where the lock lovers go and if I need the bracket with the set up bar? I purchased the bracket assembly from wheel horse parts and more and I can't for the life of me figure out how this fits on the 800 special ? Do I not use the bracket that goes across with the set up bar? And just use the lock lovers on the tractor frame extensions? Just wanna make sure I'm understanding it. All my other wheel horses had Uni drive transmissions and I've never installed the plow on an 800 special. Thank you in advance! Larry
953 nut 68,354 #2 Posted 2 hours ago The 800 Special has a Peerless transmission and the bracket from WHP&M is made for the Wheel Horse Uni-drive Transaxle. Not sure it will work for you, call Lowell and see what he has to say.
larryk1 5 #3 Posted 2 hours ago Yeah I left a message with Lowell a couple weeks ago but never heard anything. Maybe I'll give him a try again. Thanks! And yes I know the spacing on those brackets are designed for the uni- drive and it looks like on this 800 special you just put the lock levers onto the plates that hang down from the frame.
