I have lived in my home since 88. House is on a main highway. Thought I'd seen everything. But tonight took the cake.

Wife heard a noise out front when cooking dinner. Someone was broke down along the side of the road. I finally look out and there is a 4 x 8 trailer with a couple of tons of pea gravel on it. The right side tire is flat and off the bead. 2 guys standing there and lets just say English isn't their primary language. I go out to see if they need help. I ask " where's the spare?" They say " the house. " Someone is bringing it. I look at their jack. It's a 12v POS. I offer to help with my jack and impact.

Spare arrives. It's the wrong one. It's a 15" and the trailer is13" So off they go. They come back about a half hour later and he's got this little bag.I'm  thinking, that ain't no tire! He pulls out a Gatorade and 2 CANS OF EXPANDO FOAM!!!!. I ask where is the tire? " Wal-Mart didn't have it " I tell them to go to TSC. I Tell them about 10 times. But this guy is determined to use the foam! There is a chunk out of the tread and a slit in another spot. He tries to filling the slit and empties both cans into this tire. Another guy shows up with another trailer and they shovel half the gravel into that. But they also move the remaining gravel to the opposite side of the trailer and towards the front onto the tongue. Tow vehicle is a mini van. When they lowered the jack the foam squirts out and the rim is on the pavement. He drove off with it like that! I don't know if I will be able to sleep tonight because I can't stop laughing!

Look close at the tire!

 The fender probably cut the tire with all that weight. Lucky they're not shopping for an axle. I'm surprised they didn't shovel the gravel into the van

The trailer appears like it's twisted from the gross overload of weight in this pic!

They should've shoveled all the gravel into the new trailer and then loaded that first trailer on it too to gross overload that one. Let the neighbor 1/2 mile down the road deal with them! lol

RG would have fixed that with duct tape!

As far as rate your hack, I give them 3 out of 10 but have to take away 4 because they did not use duct tape!

Silver is specially formulated

Some people have more dollars than sense. In this case it seems to be a really low bar.

It was nuts the first few years here. Our first summer a guy lost a brand new walk behind tiller off of his pick up when a tire hit the hole for the water main cover, Then there was the stolen car that went through our bushes and hit the fire hydrant. The gang war 2 nights straight between the neighbor kid and some city hooligans. The other neighbor kids. 1 set his house on fire. The other one broke into the old lady's house out back. She was in the hospital at the time and he was looking for pain killers. He ended up pressing her life alert and called the cops on himself! THAT WAS A HOOT! :ROTF: Then the semi tire that flew off and hit our front porch. Then a drunk that hit the hydrant across the street and snapped off the utility pole

Wow!

We’re downright sleepytown here. The huge news a couple years back was the kid who stole a ‘vette at 3 AM from the dealer a mile or so away. He really didn’t know how to drive it. Wash’t being chased but came up our street about 80. It’s a pretty steep hill and the hill-facing “T” intersection at the top only becomes visible within 300 ft. Plenty of time to slow down if you’re paying attention. Skid marks suggested he tried to turn doing 60 or so, lost control, and went down a driveway smashing a garage. The ‘vette was totaled but the kid was able to run. Caught a few hours later hanging around the train station (good video from the dealer lot security cameras!)
