New key switch, fuel lines, fuel shutoff and grommet, used ammeter, changed the fluids 3 used tires and the patina treatment. Runs flawless. Didn't have to touch the carb at all, Belt rattles at low engine speed. Thinking of a new belt even though the old one looks ok and an idler pulley. Ive only had this happen one time, it was on a 73 WH 12-8speed no name. Ive had that tractor for several years now and still have not had to touch carb . Might be according to who the PO was and how mochine was treated before? IDK but this usually doesn't happen. Great looking/sounding tractor @squonk....... I did trade @WHX?? out of a 1257 that didn't require anything either, but it was a running operating tractor when I got it so it doesn't count.. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
lynnmor 8,971 #10 Posted 23 hours ago I would always adjust the carburetor so that you know the mixture, idle mixture, idle speed and maximum RPM is correct. We had a Cub Cadet dealer that always set for the leanest mixture possible, they ran well till they didn't. I replaced the valves he burned. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
