ineedanother 2,738 #1 Posted 20 hours ago My '70s c-series battery boxes never hold batteries well and I've had it on my list to go by a truck repair place for some mud flaps to rip down for filler strips. Wood blocks just annoy me for some reason. I saw a comment recently by @ebinmaine that got me to thinking. I think it was about felt pads so I went to the garage and knew I had these expansion joints for concrete. I'm going to rip some down and think they'll work well. ebinmaine 80,046 #6 Posted 10 hours ago I started buying these red anodized aluminum battery hold down bars. They work for the larger Automotive style batteries as seen below and also for the standard garden tractor battery.
