Good Afternoon All

Just acquired rear discharge deck and spare mule drive for the Raider 12.

Can anyone ID the deck? I see not tags on it.

Once my mid mount hitch arrives I should be able to mount and mow.

Also, the hight adjustment has no markings, so I'll ASSUME that you adjust with a tape measure off of the blade tips.

 Thanks to all who respond

I have 3  of those , this what my decks look like , how do  spindles sound move , any roughness at all ? have a regular bearing clean out and re grease , with  lucas x tra hd  green chassis grease  , also did my mule  drive bearings , no  noise or bearing whine , what an opportunity  !   mine are  rust free and quietly very solid . BTW  the related pto  lever set up  . is a GOLD MINE  FOR IMPROVEMENT  . did this too. wish you were closer !   ask away , pete

Pete

It is a 42". Would you have any idea of a model #? I would like to get a parts manual.

My PTO is the older style.

The Raider 12 did not come to me with a deck. My wife has used it to haul a garden cart. The decks offered were vertical belt driven. I added the mule drive to have a better deck selection.

I had a Simplicity 3416H 48" left side discharge deck for close to 50 years. I really liked how it mowed. A couple of years ago a Wheel Horse 857 found its way into the garage. I never knew the rear discharge deck existed. It has a 36" deck and it mows as well as the Simplicity.  I'm  relatively new to the Wheel Horse world. The tractors are simple to work on (at least the older models) the attachments, however, are a bit more complicated.

It will be one of these. A few of the differences are noted but not all.

These all use blades with 3/4" center hole.

1977 model 75-42MR02 replaced by - (Has the flat spindle belt idler pulley mounted on a flat bar) (Has multi-link hardware at the gauge wheel support)

1978 model 85-42MR01 - (Has the flat spindle belt idler pulley mounted on a flat bar) (Has multi-link hardware at the gauge wheel support)

1979 model 95-42MR01 - Shares an illustrated parts list with 85-42MR01 - (Has the flat spindle belt idler pulley mounted on a flat bar) (Has multi-link hardware at the gauge wheel support)

1979 model 95-42MR02 - (Has no multi-link hardware at the gauge wheel support)

1980-1983 model 05-42MR01

1984 model 05-42MR02 - Last year for bearings with 3/4" ID

1985 model 05-42MR03 - First year for bearings with 17mm ID unless older spindles were updated.

1986-1988 model 05-42MR04

1989-1990 model 15-42RC01

1990-1992 model 15-42RC02

1993-2012 model 78350

Note - 17mm is .669"

I don't know if it will help but is there a part number on the belt routing decal or any of the others?
