Ignition

Hi folks, new member and have a question. I just acquired a 520h and My ignition is shot, actually not there I am just trying to get it going to see what I have. So what I have done is run a switched wire from positive side of battery to positive on coil then I ran a switched wire from positive side of battery to solenoid. I have lots of spark and it turns over great but won' start. What am I missing? Go easy on the new guy..LOL

Are you getting fuel to the carburetor?       Have you replaced the spark plugs?

Good fuel and spark.  Is compression missing?

Yes lots of compression . So I have compression,fuel and spark. I am wondering if I have to jump any wires in the ignition plug. I didn't want to do that until I got some feedback here.

Is the spark at the correct time?

Not if you see a good fire at the spark plugs.  Can you video the spark plugs firing?

I am old school and don't have one of those pocket phones to take pictures and there is no reception where I live. I know there is lots of spark because I hooked up one of those spark testers between the plug and plug wire and it was firing really good.
