Plow Skids

Recommended Posts

Hey guys!

Has anyone found plow skids that work that bolt on and also adjustable on the fly? My driveway is mostly gravel but I have a pavement apron at the end, as well as my neighbors driveways that are pavement that I plow for them too. I dont have a welder so being able to bolt stuff together is my only option.  Thanks!

:confusion-confused:            You planning on putting them on some sort of electric linear actuator or hydraulic cylinder?

No, just want pins i can pull and slide thwm manually out. Adjustable on the fly meaning no tools needed to slide them up or down.

Thanks! Do they have a bracket that will bolt onto the existing holes on the plow?

Got to fabricate something of your own.

Not sure what your plow has on it but there are 90⁰ angle pieces available from Home Depot that could be considered.

FWIW.  I've tried those exact skids.

I have some you can have for the freight.

We stopped using plow skids because they dug into our driveway.

another thing to consider is when the blade is fully angled the skids/shoes can rub the front tires

FYI --- When linking any of those things like that could you please delete EVERYTHING after the ? in your post. Everything after the ? is tracking BS that we don't want or need when clicking on it. I didn't know that either until @Handy Don pointed that out a while go. The rest is deleted  but the link still links
