I was looking for some inspiration for the paint job on my new plane.  
 

That Learjet is cool, but I think I need something a little more red!

I got to see that in person a few years at the very Rock and Race event they mentioned in the video. Dragway 42 is only about an hour and a half away from us so every few years we try to make it out there for the Rock and Race and one of our buddies is the guy that puts it on and organizes it.

The plane is as complete as it’ll be this weekend, and maybe for a while.  We’re heading back to reality with big things to fix and build.

Similar to Wheel Horse herds, RC aircraft tend to gather in squadrons. ‘nuff said.

Looks like some sort of torque reaction to me. 

 

Be a little slower on throttle application?

Lift imbalance (left too little or right too much) and possibly too much “up” elevator  

Rudder not centered? (pre-enter a bit of correction on the controller)

Full power for takeoff is correct. it should take off in about 20 feet of smooth runway.

The smaller the plane the harder it is to fly. Look for a trainer plane kit. They're larger, slower and less forgiving and easier to learn with. 

Spent plenty of $ back in the day when they were all fuel powered and expensive.

Same here but building those planes was a lot of fun too.

Smashed so many I converted the parts into flat bottom air boat style rigs which could slide on the ground. Wet grass and snow were the best but they could run on anything plus on the water.

That was some trial and error too because in the beginning I got just as much fly time on them as I did with the planes! LOL Then I added an air foil by turning parts of the plane wings upside down to keep them on the ground at high speeds.
