JOEPOE1977 0 #1 Posted 18 hours ago 1990 Wheel Horse 310-8 CARBURETOR. Looking for a Kohler if possible or the best replacement for the carburator that is on the tractor. It has a Welbro on it. I am sending pictures of it. A Welbro if possible if new or the best replacement for it. You are the PROFESSIONALS I AM CERTAINLY NOT. I believe that it has the shaft choke on it. 953 nut 67,675 #7 Posted 3 hours ago There are several ways to deal with this situation. 1) Buy a cheap knock-off and wish you hadn't. 2) send it to @ebinmaine, he loves to rebuild them. 3) rebuild it yourself using some information from here https://gardentractorpullingtips.com/carbfuel.htm 4) pull the outside, with your air cleaner removed and engine running near wide open, spray some Seafoam into the throat of the carb until it almost stalls out, let it recover, repeat a couple of times. This may clear up any rough running condition you have. The huge clouds of white smoke will dissipate before the EPA arrives if you are lucky.
