Bar Nuthin 2,756 #1 Posted 4 hours ago My neighbor bought a C-121 Automatic that had previously been used as a mule at an airport. The hood has several warning stickers regarding safety checks when hooking to the plane. It has been fitted with some massive rear wheel hubs! At first, I thought they were repair hubs, but once removed the axles are in perfect condition. Anyone seen hubs like these before?

I'll try to get some pictures of the hood decals - as well as the add-on hydraulics that were installed by a shop in Northern Indiana. 1

peter lena 9,971 #5 Posted 3 hours ago @Bar Nuthin you mean like ADAPTING TO A PROBLEM ? my national guard time was at an , air wing / motor pool , bradley field hartford ct . met a lot of good guys and a number of dummies too . avoided them like the plague . regularly drove trucks back and forth for major drive line replacement, also did driveline winch rebuilding / refitting . ww2 railroad tracks , let them have old train cars for mobil shops . thats what you want , get squared away with those shops , made things very obvious / easily repaired . my unit was in mystic conn , groton ct 7 miles away was another air wing , that did chopper repairs . great experience , pete
