Snappy throttle

Recommended Posts

Hey all, I’m trying to work on my wheel horse a little bit here, well for some reason I swear my throttle is either idle, or full throttle no inbetween, it’s a k181 on a commando 8

Whenever the cable is connected directly to the holes in the disk that happens. Very fast throttle response.

A Wheel Horse spec engine would have a small arm that was welded to the disk so the cable connection was a bit farther distance away from the center fulcrum point. Therefore it would take a longer distance to travel from idle to full rpm.

This is what that arm looks like
