Rubix 1 #1 Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Where are we buying new carbs and fuel pumps for Kohler K series engines now that isavetractors is shut down? Or, where are we buying rebuild kits for original carbs and fuel pumps? Anything out there these days or are we stuck with lower quality ebay and amazon parts? My old WH 314 k321s has been giving me trouble all summer with power loss in tall grass or under heavy load and now will not start. New condenser, capacitor, points, spark plug wire, and spark plug installed last year. It seemed like it was starving a month ago so it got a new spark plug (again already), air filter, fuel filter this year, and the carburetor screws reset per the manual after the new air filter and it ran great. I've double checked all electrical - continuity is all where it should be regarding my bypassed safety switches. I noticed my clear plastic in line fuel filter seems to be holding a little more fuel than usual. I'm left thinking it must be the fuel pump, I'll pull the hose at the carb tomorrow and see if I'm getting fuel when cranking. While I'm at it though, I have to assume this is the original ~40 year old carb; I've never replaced it since I bought the tractor in 2011 and maybe the float is bad. I've always bought my parts from isavetractors, but now I'm lost. I've read about the plastic fuel pumps on amazon and ebay, ugh. What about carbs, does anyone sell quality stuff like isavetractors did? Thanks in advance. Edited 3 hours ago by Rubix
